Grew Bancroft Scholar wins International Whisling Championship (teenage division)
Yuki Takeda, Middlebury, wins the teenage male grandchampionship for two consecutive years. He has been in whisling competition for several years. Congratulations. (artcile)
Japanese high school teachers to visit 6 schools in New England
Last December, we organized a group of Japanese high school teachers to visit Harvard, Williams, Amherst, Smith, Yale, and Wesleyan. We met with admissions officers, attended classes, met with Japanese students, and toured a campus. 6 schools in 4 days, typical Japanese itinerary! The tour was successful.
